The Boys Season 1 mein kahani shuru hoti hai Hughie se, jiska poori tarah se dil toot jata hai jab uski girlfriend ko ek tezi se bhaagta hua bhrasht superhero 'A-Train' maut ke ghaat utaar deta hai. Tab Hughie se milne aata hai Billy Butcher, jo superheroes (Supes) aur unhe chalane wali badi company 'Vought International' se badla lena chahta hai. Butcher aur Hughie milkar apne purane doston ke sath ek group banate hain jise 'The Boys' kaha jata hai. Unka maksad Vought ke sabse bade aur takatvar group 'The Seven' (jiska leader khatarnak Homelander hai) ki asliyat duniya ke saamne lana aur unhe khatam karna hai.
